K-pop boy group Super Junior has officially turned 15 years old!
To celebrate their 15-year-long career, the legendary boy group has finally dropped their pre-release track titled “The Melody” from their upcoming 10th full-length album, slated to be released in December.
The music video for the medium-tempo song gives off a scrapbook-style impression with the members singing in between.
The video also shows Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun from their many concerts, press events, music video shoots, and so much more.
The lyrics express the group's desire to sing with one another in the future, including the words, “On the night we sang about eternity, not just a moment,” and “I can't know what's ahead of me, but I'll sing with you.”

During a special VLive, the group discussed the process of making the song and the music video for “The Melody.”
Main vocal Yesung, who co-wrote the song with Leeteuk, mentioned that he took inspiration from all the memories he spent with Super Junior and their adoring fans.
“It is our 15th anniversary, and I thought about the ELF who made us come this far,” he said.
“So, I wrote it with all our fans in mind and the memories we had with them.”
According to leader Leeteuk, other Super Junior members were supposed to take part in the writing of the lyrics; however, not everyone could submit their parts.
“I did write my part late at night but then started crying,” jested member Eunhyuk.
Speaking about the music video, the members said they wanted a unique approach this time around by gathering their old pictures together.
Eunhyuk said, “The music video was unique because the pictures that will be shown were old pictures we took ourselves.”
